Five Star Beekeeping Story
Five Star Beekeeping International is a family run business based in Sialkot, Pakistan. It was founded in 2015 by Atif and Shehzad. Between them they have over 30 years of experience working in the textile industry.
Shehzad has been working in the manufacturing industry since 1994 and has 10 years’ experience as a Quality manager for a large company. Atif, since 2002 worked in textile design and workwear production in Sialkot. Both have had experience working alongside beekeepers, both practically in the field and in the development of beekeeping clothing. Atif and Shehzad work alongside a small and dedicated team of office and warehouse staff and a handful of machinists working from home.

The Manufacturing Process
We start by sourcing premium fabrics and components, sourced whenever possible from local suppliers in Sialkot, Pakistan. All Five Star protective beekeeping clothing are designed in collaboration with beekeepers in the UK and around the world and manufactured by us to the highest standards by our own team of experienced professional machinists. All our manufacturing is undertaken by our highly skilled outworkers. Their work life balance is important to us, we believe that the highest quality standards are maintained by ensuring our workers are happy and cared for.

In addition, every product we launch passes through the most stringent test undertaken by our experienced professional beekeeping partners.
